Conference Call Games

1. Close your eyes and select any word from a book and try to slip it unnoticed in to conference call.
2. Sign up for word of the day from Dictionary.com so you can have a new word for every meeting or try some of our favourite words (definitions courtesy of Dictionary.com):
• Abulia - loss or impairment of the ability to make decisions or act independently
• Perambulate -to walk about; to roam; to stroll
• Vacillate - to swing indecisively from one course of action or opinion to another
• Parsimony - unusual or excessive frugality; extreme economy or stinginess
• Pervicacious - refusing to change one's ideas, behaviour, etc.; stubborn; obstinate.
• Ostensible - represented or appearing to be true, but not necessarily so
• Fulsome - insincere or excessively lavish; especially, offensive from excess of praise
• Purblind - lacking in insight or discernment
• Flummery - Empty compliment; unsubstantial talk or writing; mumbo jumbo; nonsense
  
3. Play Conference Call Bingo
4. Play computer Solitaire or one of the many free games at Egg2
5. Play Paper, Scissors, Rock with a colleague.
6. Make as many words as you can from the following letters. Proper nouns or plurals are not allowed. Each word must use the centre letter. There is a nine letter word, if you find it, email it to us and we'll pop a small prize in the mail to you.
