Teleconference Activities
Remember to mute your line!
- Play Happy Birthday to a colleague. Using a separate telephone line (so that the people on the conference call can't hear what you are up to) enter this number to the rhythm of Happy Birthday!

- Make paper clip statues, hole punch confetti or rubber band balls
- Make up movie star names for the people in your conference room. To do this, add the name of your first pet to the name of the first street you lived on. For instance "Chip Exbury"
- Clip toenails
- Read the newspaper online (quieter than turning real pages). Try The Australian or News.com
- Learn to touch type, or impress a colleague by pretending
- Search ebay for the most obscure item you can think of
- Learn origami
- Find entertaining sound effects online at shockwave-sound.
- Re-define current exercise regime
- Give each other a massage or play Twister (for conference room groups)
- Make a start on that novel
- Define the three household items you would take on a desert island
- Make a list of the 6 people you would invite to a dinner party if you could choose anybody from any time in history
- Clear you inbox of emails - OK no conference call is that boring
If you can think of some further suitably low brow ideas, we would love to hear from you.
