HotAir is unique among the reliable business grade teleconference services in displaying our prices.

The only companies that normally show prices are the services that are not reliable enough for business usage.

We are also unique in being the only teleconference company that proactively lowers it's prices. For instance we recently reduced the cost of joining a teleconference from overseas. This means that unlike other companies, with HotAir you will always have great rates, not just on the day you sign up.

How is the cost of a teleconference calculated?

The cost is normally based on how many lines you have and how long they are connected. It is also affected by what type of telephone number is dialled. Most of our customers use a 1800 (also known as a toll free) number. This is because the call is free for the participants (when they join from a landline).

Example
If you had a 30 minute conference call during business hours with 5 lines all dialling the 1800 number.

The cost would be: 30 mins x 5 lines x $0.25 = $37.50 +GST

International telephone numbers

 
If you have overseas people that need to attend your teleconference and you don't want THEM to pay for an international telephone call. We have toll free telephone numbers in 25 countries. This means that they can join your conference call at no cost as long as they use a landline.

Most teleconference companies won't tell you

that their international toll free numbers don't work with mobile phones. As the global pioneers in providing this type of service you'd expect us to have an edge and we do. Most of our numbers will work with mobiles!

Why is this important?

With the large timezone difference between Australia and Europe/USA it means that if you hold a conference call during our business day, your overseas participants are likely to be at home or in a hotel not in their office. This means they are likely to want to join your teleconference using a mobile phone.

Detailed invoices

If you need to put your teleconferencing costs against a cost centre or recharge to a client, you will appreciate the level of detail in our invoices. You can see a sample invoice here.

Telecoms companies often charge incorrectly and because most don't provide any detail in their teleconference bills, you will never know if you are being charged correctly. That's why our invoices show every line that was in every conference call so that you can keep us honest.

Invoices are sent once per month and can be paid by credit card, electronic transfer or cheque.
