HotAir is the only business grade (reliable) teleconference service to publicly display our prices.

The only companies that normally show prices are not reliable enough for business usage.

How is the cost of a teleconference calculated?

The cost is based on how many lines you have and how long they are connected. It is also affected by what type of telephone number is dialled. Most of our customers use a 1800 (also known as a toll free) number. this means that as long as your participants use a landline, they will not pay for the telephone call to reach your meeting.

Example
If you had a 30 minute conference call during business hours with 5 lines all dialling the 1800 number.

The cost would be: 30 mins x 5 lines x $0.25 = $37.50 +GST

Most people join conference calls by dialling in to them.

International teleconferences

 

If you you don't want your overseas participants to pay for an international telephone call, they can dial an in-country toll free number. The call will be free as long as they use a landline. If they use a mobile phone, the international part of the call will still be free. Available international toll free numbers with prices.

Most teleconference companies won't tell you

that their international toll free numbers don't work with mobile phones. As the global pioneers in providing this type of service you'd expect us to have an edge and we do. Most of our numbers will work with mobiles!

Why is this important? With the large timezone difference between Australia and Europe/USA it means that if you hold a conference call during our business day, your overseas participants are likely to be at home or in a hotel not in their office. This means they are likely to want to join your teleconference using a mobile phone.

Detailed invoices

If you need to put your teleconferencing costs against a cost centre or recharge to a client, you will appreciate the level of detail in our invoices. You can see a sample invoice here.Telecoms companies often charge incorrectly and because most don't provide any detail in their teleconference bills, you will never know if you are being charged correctly. That's why our invoices show every line that was in every conference call so that you can keep us honest.Invoices are sent once per month and can be paid by credit card*, electronic transfer or cheque.
