Useful Websites

Time zone information

timeanddate.com is a fantastic website and has just about everything you could need to know about time zones.

How to hold an effective meeting

A good website found at www.effectivemeetings.com covers every aspect imaginable of how to get more out of your meetings.

Conferencing industry resources

If you want to know more about the industry, the sites shown below are a great place to start although they are mainly focused on the American market. Alternatively look at the conferencing articles on this site.

Wainhouse Research

The Wainhouse team writes an excellent free newsletter and organises frequent industry seminars.

Telespan
Elliot Gold and his team write the most detailed analysis on the conferencing industry. If you need to make big decisions or spend your own money, this is where to look. Of course this level of comprehensive analysis does have a cost and a subscription is required to get the most from the site. Elliot's predictions for the year ahead can make particularly interesting reading.

Conferencing News
A daily free update on the industry.

Polycom
Polycom have been so successful in making speakerphones for conferencing that it is hard to find an office (or movie) which does not have one.

A good quality, full duplex (means you can talk and listen simultaneously) speakerphone will transform the sound quality of your meeting. We strongly recommend them.

HotAir Conferencing is not sponsored by, nor are we associated with any of the above conferencing industry resources.
