Ian - The big CheeseAs the Asia Pacific Managing Director for MCI WorldCom, Ian led the team who established the first teleconferencing company in Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore followed by a service in Australia.

The business was the largest specialist conferencing provider in the region with a staff of a 130.

He later became the Australia / New Zealand Managing Director for Genesys Conferencing where he doubled the size of the business in four years.

When asked why he wanted to set up HotAir Conferencing, he said “Australian conferencing users have been over paying for conferencing for many years, but with the changes in technology I knew I could provide a fantastic service and still be massively cheaper than other providers.  I wanted to offer great prices up front without customers needing to haggle.”
